Joan Marie Etzweiler Attorney at Law

Joan Marie is an Associate in our Radnor Office and has over 10 years of insurance defense litigation experience.  Before joining LJUK, she practiced law at a large Philadelphia and New Jersey Insurance Defense law firm and several boutique law firms.  Her practice focused on premises liability, long term care, toxic tort litigation and medical malpractice. At LJUK, she handles product liability and general tort cases.

Joan Marie has successfully represented clients in arbitrations and mediations throughout the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  

Joan Marie Etzweiler was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and graduated from Cherry Hill High School West.  Ms. Etzweiler then attended and graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.  She swam competitively for Fairfield University on a partial athletic scholarship while majoring in Sociology and minoring in History.  Following graduation, she attended Widener Law School in Wilmington, Delaware, graduating in 1996.  She was elected Corresponding Secretary of the S.B.A. of Widener School of Law in her third year, was selected for an internship with Delaware County office of Support Enforcement and graduated cum laude.

Ms. Etzweiler has volunteered through the Office of the Child Advocate in Philadelphia County and has been a member of Montgomery County Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association.
