Daniel Kain Obtains Maxsun Co. Ltd. Dismissal in PA

In Lim v. Huang, et. al., Dan Kain obtained dismissal for one of Littleton Joyce’s Korean based clients. The Northampton County Court of Common Pleas granted Maxsun Co. Ltd.’s Preliminary Objections on the basis that Plaintiffs served Maxsun in violation of the Hague Service Convention. The Court also found that it lacked personal jurisdiction as to Maxsun under Pennsylvania’s long-arm statute and the Due Process Clause of the United States Constitution.
