Robert Littleton is the Practice
Team Leader of the National Product Liability Program Management,
Crisis Management and Mediation Practice Team. He has served
international manufacturers as product line, national, and
regional coordinating counsel for over two decades. He has
appeared pro hac vice in 20 states and has supervised the
defense of claims in England, Switzerland, Austria and Spain.
In addition to national product liability program management,
he has also defended individual product claims ranging from
a broken surgical instrument to the shutdown of a European
cell phone network.
Mr. Littleton has teamed with our Commercial
Lawyers on matters including: multimillion dollar breach of
warranty claims; large collection cases with product performance
defenses; distributor termination suits, and others. He has
defended construction delay claims premised on the allegedly
defective performance of products.
Mr. Littleton has helped businesses cope
with corporate crises including: transportation disasters,
recalls, media criticism of client products, and government
investigations.
Robert Littleton has published and
lectured extensively on product liability, admissibility of
expert evidence, litigating in adverse jurisdictions, ADR,
and crisis management.
