Marie Kyriss’ practice
focuses on high-stakes litigation in the state and federal courts
of New York and across the country, with an emphasis on product
liability litigation, complex commercial litigation and mass
tort litigation. She has defended automotive, pharmaceutical,
medical and industrial product defect claims, consumer class
actions and breach of warranty claims. At her previous firm,
Ms. Kyriss assisted in developing and implementing a defense
strategy for a big three automotive company for one of the largest
recalls in automotive history. She has successfully defended
high-profile personal injury actions, wrongful death cases and
general negligence cases.
Ms. Kyriss has extensive experience in commercial disputes,
including breach of contract, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
and business tort litigation. She has represented large international
corporations in multi-million dollar contract disputes with
suppliers, distributors and customers.
Marie Kyriss understands the business
aspects of litigation and has been successful in mitigating
litigation expenses by working with her clients to increase
efficiencies and using cost-effective litigation techniques.
Consistent with her clients’ goals, Ms. Kyriss has successfully
and discreetly resolved differences between parties before
they lead to expensive public litigation and trial.
