Bryon L. Friedman leads the
firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Team. His twenty-year
practice includes general commercial and contract disputes,
industrial warranty and sale-of-goods matters, secured lending,
lender-liability defense, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy,
corporate dissolutions, and debt enforcement.
Mr. Friedman has tried cases in various
state and federal courts, always keeping maximum recovery
or savings as the first priority. Mr. Friedman has managed
multi-million dollar industrial warranty challenges, both
during construction through negotiations, and afterwards in
litigation or arbitration. Mr. Friedman has represented secured
lenders in contested litigations involving various types of
collateral, including income-producing and multi-parcel real
estate, inventory, equipment, and intangible property.
Experienced in all phases of commercial
bankruptcies, Mr. Friedman has negotiated and litigated cash
collateral issues; and managed adequate protection situations
leading to successful sales with significant recoveries. Mr.
Friedman has successfully defended a wide variety of lender
liability matters.
Bryon Friedman has also conducted
or participated in CLE presentations concerning enforcement
of judgments for the New York State Bar Association.
